Terms of use
Last updated 10 October 2026
About these terms
These terms are between My Local Pro ("we") and the business using My Local Pro Workbench ("you"). By using it you agree to them.
Early access
While we're in early access, we set accounts up ourselves and the service is free. We'll tell you at least 30 days before any charge starts, and you can leave before then.
Early access means things change and we're still building. Tell us what's wrong and we'll fix what we can.
Your account
Keep sign-in links to yourself. You're responsible for who you add to your account and what they do with it.
Your customers and your prices
- Your prices, services, VAT and the work you do are yours. We don't set them and we're not part of your contract with your customers.
- Customers pay you directly. If you take cards, Stripe's terms apply between you and Stripe.
- You're the controller of your customers' details. Use them lawfully, tell your customers you use us, and answer their requests. The tools to download or erase a customer's details are in the app.
Fair use
Don't use the service to send spam, to break the law, or to try to get at anyone else's data. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. Keep your own records of anything you can't do without.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we're not liable for lost profits or indirect losses, and while the service is free our total liability is limited to £100.
Leaving
You can stop at any time. Download your customers, jobs and payments first; we delete your account on request, apart from records we must keep.
Changes and the law
We'll email you before changing these terms in a way that matters. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions to hello@mylocalpro.co.uk.
